The Techno India story

One workshop,one standard.

Established in 2005 and based at Roorkee, Uttarakhand, Techno (India) designs and manufactures high-precision microprocessor and microcontroller-based testing instruments for the pulp, paper, packaging, converting, textile and ceramic-minerals industries.

Our range includes tensile strength, bursting strength, tearing strength, wet strength, brightness and opacity, box compression and rotary digester systems, developed in-house by an experienced engineering team using current measurement technology.

Quality control runs from raw-material selection and design through the testing of every part and sub-assembly against international standards, followed by vibration and performance checks on the finished instrument — so it works from the moment it is switched on, and keeps working in demanding plant conditions.

Our aim is straightforward: better methods and better measuring equipment for more efficient, more profitable quality control, in the laboratory and on the production line alike. Techno (India) is led by proprietor Neetu Tyagi, with Sanjay Tyagi as technical executive.

Design & material selection

Every build starts with the right steel, the right sensor and a design reviewed against the test method it has to satisfy.

Part & sub-assembly testing

Machined parts, load cells and electronics are checked individually before anything reaches final assembly.

Step 03

Assembly & vibration check

Assembled instruments are run through visual, physical and vibration checks so they survive real plant conditions.

Step 04

Calibration & dispatch

Final performance verification and traceable calibration, so the instrument works the moment it is switched on.

We engineer in-house

Frames, load cells, fixtures and firmware are developed by our own team, so accuracy is designed in rather than sourced in.

We build to standards

Instruments are constructed against IS, ASTM, ISO and TAPPI methods and shipped with traceable calibration.
